Warbirds of World War II Diecast Military Aircraft

They are the stuff of legend. They are the men and machines that fought to dominate the skies over Europe, North Africa and the Pacific at a time when the world quite literally hung in the balance. Amidst the carnage and destruction, these are the iconic aircraft that will forever be etched into the annals of mid twentieth century aerial warfare. These are the masters of aerial combat. These are the Warbirds of World War II.

From concept through to final production, we're sure you'll be proud to add any and all of the Warbirds of World War II models to your aviation collection. This series encompasses over 60 different models, some of which have been duplicated but clad in different liveries thus making them unique in their own right. Each introduction is produced in 1,002 piece lots and comes packaged in a handsome acrylic display case and etched display base. Best of all, each comes bundled with a numbered collector card, meaning they're available in very limited numbers.

The Polikarpov I-16 was a Soviet fighter aircraft of revolutionary design; it was the world's first low-wing cantilever monoplane fighter with retractable landing gear to have attained operational status and as such "introduced a new vogue in fighter design."
