Eaglemoss EMST0021 Star Trek Federation Sovereign Class Starship - USS Enterprise NCC-1701-E [With Collector Magazine] "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few."
- Science Officer Spock

The USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-E) was a 24th century Federation Sovereign-class starship operated by Starfleet. This ship was the sixth Federation starship to bear the name Enterprise.

The Enterprise was launched in 2372, on stardate 49827.5 and was, at the time, the most advanced starship in the fleet. She was constructed at the San Francisco Fleet Yards orbiting Earth.

Captain Jean-Luc Picard assumed command shortly after the vessel's christening, just over a year following the destruction of her predecessor. Most of Picard's crew from the USS Enterprise-D were reassigned to the Enterprise-E.

Pictured here is a replica of the Federation Sovereign class starship, USS Enterprise NCC-1701-E. Sold Out!

3 of 5 First Contact: More plastic than metal, Cap'n! October 18, 2015
Reviewer: Mike H. from New York, NY United States
For one of the "main" ships of the line (The focus of three films), it's surprising to see how this model didn't benefit from the extra care its due. Indeed, this most obvious problem is the choice of plastic for nacelle pylons. They flex more easily than on any other model. They scream for metal, or a more substantial type of plastic, but here, it's so thin you automatically start holding it more gingerly.

That said, having a desk-friendly model of 1701-E is nice, and I think this does outshine the F-Toys/Furuta/Konami/Romondo all-plastic versions from a few years ago. Despite some fine detailing, those Japanese models flexed in their own way and didn't benefit from any heft of die-cast metal. Speaking of which, it was a shame Hot Wheels didn't do 1701-E in their own Trek series, but I'm already digressing.

In the end, despite its faults, I'd recommend grabbing this, but be forewarned. It's not as forgiving of "play" as others, given its weaknesses.
