The M41 "Gorilla" self-propelled artillery piece entered development in late 1943, although it didn't enter service until January 1945. Like the M40, the M41 was based on the M4 tank chassis and used the 155mm 'Long Tom' gun. The M41 was powered by a Continental nine-cylinder radial piston engine, could reach a maximum road speed of 24mph, and was crewed by eight specially trained enlisted personnel.
This particular 1:50 scale M41 is painted in the US Army's standard olive drab color scheme. Sold Out!
