The Voth metropolis measuring approximately eleven kilometers in length. The ship, which used a sophisticated transwarp propulsion system, was large and powerful enough to capture the Federation starship Voyager and hold it within its structure. The Voth city ship was a massive transwarp-capable starship that served as the center of the Voth civilization. The Voth city ship located and captured the USS Voyager in 2373 and proceeded to beam the Federation starship aboard. Once aboard, the crew of the city ship established a ship-wide dampening field, which rendered tricorders, phasers, and main power inoperative.

Historical Account: "The Voth" - The Voth were a saurian species, presumably having evolved from beings originally native to the planet Earth, but later coming to reside in the Delta Quadrant. A significantly advanced species, the Voth were cold-blooded creatures, had a superior sense of smell, and skin pigmentation which altered according to moods. As of the 24th century, they had existed for about 20 million years.
