Translated as Armored Steel, German-based Panzerstahl is a brand new manufacturer of 1:72 scale diecast military vehicle. Only recently discovered, this modelmaker seems to be well into production, already offering a dynamic range of German Panzer IV tanks. The T-28 super heavy tank (also called 105 mm Gun Motor Carriage T-95) was a prototype heavily armored tank destroyer designed for the United States Army during World War II. In 1948, the IS-7 heavy tank was developed by the Russian military. Weighing 68 metric tons, thickly armoured and armed with a 130 mm C-70 gun, it was the largest and heaviest tank ever tested by the USSR. Although it was in many ways an innovative design, it was never accepted for mass production due to its cumbersome size and the very impractical layout of its fighting compartment.

The FV 214 Conqueror, also known as "Tank, Heavy No. 1, 120 mm Gun, Conqueror" was a British heavy tank of the post-war era. It was developed as a response to the Soviet Joseph Stalin IS-3 heavy tanks and carried a larger 120 mm gun compared to the 20-pounder (83.4 mm) gun carried by its peer the Centurion. Its role was to provide long range anti-tank support for Centurion tanks.
