In September 1943, 50% of the Sd. Kfz. 234 production was ordered to mount the 7.5cm KwK (H24) gun. This was decreased to 25% in June 1944, reflecting an organizational change by the reconnaissance troops. In late November 1944, Hitler ordered that, from December 1944, the 7.5cm PaK40 gun be mounted on the Sd. Kfz. 234. At that point, production of the Sd. Kfz. 234/3 ceased, but production of the Sd. Kfz. 234/4 continued until March 1945. A further model was to mount the 7.5cm L/48 AK 7B84 gun which was basically the KwK 40 in a mount similar to that of the Sd. Kfz. 234/3. Sold Out!
