In September 1943, 50 percent of the Sd. Kfz. 234 production was ordered to mount the 7.5cm KwK (H24) gun. This was later decreased to 25 percent in June 1944, reflecting an organizational change by the reconnaissance troops in late November 1944. Hitler ordered that, from December 1944, the 7.5cm PaK40 gun be mounted on the Sd. Kfz. 234. Therefore production of the Sd. Kfz. 234/4 ceased in December but production of the Sd. Kfz. 234/4 contiuned until March 1945. A further model was to mount the 7.5cm L/48 AK 7B84 gun, which was basically the KwK 40 in a mount similar to that of the Sd. Kfz. 234/3. Sold Out!
