Description

Gaso.Line Gas50003M German Schwere Wehrmachtschlepper Artillery Tractor (1:50 Scale) "If the tank succeeds, then victory follows."
- Major-General Heinz Guderian, "Achtung Panzer!"

The schwere WehrmachtSchlepper was produced from December 1943 to March 1945 by Bussing-NAG and Tatra. It was designed as a replacement for the Sd. Kfz. 6 and Sd. Kfz. 11, but only 825 were produced. Each vehicle had an armored cab protected by 8mm to 15mm of steel. A small number of vehicles mounted the 3.7cm FlaK auf sWS FlaK Gun while others were mated with a 15cm Panzerwerfer 42 Zehnling auf sWS rocket launcher. The majority of the early models featured a truck-like cab, although from mid-1944 onwards, most were equipped with a factory-mounted armored cab known as Gepanzerte Ausfuehrung. Interestingly, the sWS was even built during the post-war period in Czechoslovakia and known as the Tatra T809, no doubt a testament to their value and design.

Pictured here is a 1:50 scale replica of a German Schwere Wehrmachtschlepper Artillery Tractor. Sold Out!
