Description Extended Information

Forces of Valor 85068 German Sd. Kfz. 138/2 Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer Light Tank Destroyer - Panzerjager Abteilung 741, 5.Panzerarmee, Ardennes, 1944 (1:72 Scale) "We must do everything we can to promote anti-tank defense, and work just as hard to guarantee successful counter-attacks through the instrument of powerful tank forces of our own."
- Major-General Heinz Guderian, "Achtung Panzer!"

Manufactured in Czechoslovakia at the Skoda Munitions Works, the Hetzer was designed to be a low-cost light tank destroyer that could stand up to the rigors of battle on any front. Entering service in July 1944, the Hetzer used a wide range of existing components from the outclassed PzKpfw 38(t) tank. Although the Hetzer employed a wider hull and sloped armor, its cramped fighting compartment and limited angle of fire presented many problems to its crew. The Hetzer also featured a roof-mounted remote-controlled machine gun for close combat support.

This particular 1:72 scale replica of a German Hetzer light tank destroyer was attached to Panzerjager Abteilung 741, then participating in the Battle of the Bulge during late 1944. Sold Out!

Again they come through for me.  Very nice detail and with the exception of the tracks ( I guess we'll see how long these last before splitting as  most of my FOV tanaks have...) its a very nice little piece. Didn't know the Hetzer was so small.  Very cool.

Good, but not up to the standards of a company like Dragon. Paint too glossy.
