Diecast Construction and Combat Engineering Vehicles

Engineering vehicles, or construction equipment (sometimes referred to as earth movers), are heavy-duty vehicles, specially designed for executing civil engineering and construction tasks.

The most common engineering vehicles include the Aerial work platform / Lift table, Articulated Hauler, Backhoe loader, Bulldozer, Combat engineering vehicle (CEV), Compact excavator, Cherry picker, Crane, Dragline excavator, Drilling machine, Excavator ("Bagger" or "Digger"), Feller buncher, Forklift truck, Forwarder, Front loader, Fresno Scraper, Grader, Harvester, Paver, Pile driver, Road roller (aka Roller-compactor), Rotary tiller, rototiller or rotovator, Skid loader, Skidder, Telescopic handler, Tractor, Trencher (machine), and Wheel tractor-scraper.

Most CEVs are armored fighting vehicles that may be based on a tank chassis and have special attachments in order to breach obstacles. Such attachments may include dozer blades, mine rollers, cranes etc. An example of an engineering vehicle of this kind is a bridgelaying tank, which replaces the turret with a segmented hydraulic bridge.
