RAF De Havilland Mosquito Mk. VI Night Fighter - NFll HJ711, Elvington Aviation Museum, 2013 Japanese Early Production Type 97 "Chi-Ha" Medium Tank - 3rd Tank Company, 1st Tank Regiment, Malaya, 1941

The "Mossie," as it was known affectionately by its British crews, was both simple in construction and design. It was a twin engine, single boom aircraft that placed the pilot and navigator in a side-by-side sitting configuration. The Mosquito was one of the most cost effective aircraft ever built because it was constructed out of wood.

During the development of the Type 97 Medium Tank, The Japanese decided to call it "Chi" as a code name of sorts for the medium tank.

The High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) is a U.S. light multiple rocket launcher system mounted on a truck. HIMARS carries six rockets or one ATACMS missile on the US Army's new FMTV five-ton truck, and can launch the entire MLRS family of munitions. HIMARS is interchangeable with the MLRS M270A1, carrying half the rocket load.

The Spitfire is the most famous British aircraft of all time. Although less numerous than the Hawker Hurricane, it is remembered as the sleek, thoroughbred fighting machine that turned the tide during the Battle of Britain. The Spitfire was among the fastest and most maneuverable prop-driven fighters of World War II, serving in virtually every combat theater.

Zil 131 General Purpose Truck - United Nations, 2001 US M7 Priest Self-Propelled Gun - A Battery, 231st Armored Field Artillery Battalion, 6th Armored Division, Western Front, 1944

The ZIL-131 is a general purpose 3.5 tons 6x6 army truck designed in the Soviet Union, the basic model being a general cargo truck. Variants include a tractor-trailer truck, a dump truck, a fuel truck, and a 6x6 for towing a 4-wheeled powered trailer.

Nicknamed the 'Priest' by British crews because of its pulpit-shaped machine-gun turret at the front, the M7 grew from US experience with howitzers mounted on half-tracked vehicles. The War Department soon realized that a fully tracked carriage was required, and the M3 tank was modified to fill the role.
