Corgi Forward March Figure Series

Over the last fifty years, Corgi has earned a reputation as one of the finest producers of highly detailed, diecast, historically accurate vehicle and aircraft models. These same values and principles have now been applied to a brand new range of hand-painted, spin-cast metal miniature figurines -- the Forward March collection. Our same commitment to quality and authenticity shines through in every figure -- from aviators to World War II infantry and elite forces, these figures capture the essence of the period down to the buttons on the tunics and the look of confidence and resignation in their detailed faces! Many of these figures are the perfect complement to existing Corgi military and aviation collections -- what better way to bring additional life to your existing collection than by creating your own custom-made vignette complete with vehicles and figures.

Land on a beach in pitching waves under hostile fire, then climb up a sheer cliff while still under fire, and attack a barbed-wire encircling German artillery battery with machine gun pits everywhere. The abominal weather in the winter of 1944, with the freezing temperatures and heavy snowfall, hampered operations for the US infantry. The majority of the Americans were billeted in the towns and villages and had minimal cold-weather combat clothing.
